Kean University dedicates Miron Student Center in honor of benefactors Diane G. Miron '61 and Bob Miron

On October 7, Kean University officially renamed its University Center as the Miron Student Center in a joyful ceremony attended by faculty, administrators, students, and family and friends of benefactor Diane Goldblatt Miron ’61 and her husband Bob Miron. The Miron Student Center was named in recognition of a major gift recently made to Kean by the Mirons. “If not for [Kean University], life would have been very different for me,” said Diane Miron. “It’s my great pleasure and a great honor to be able to give something back to the university after all that Kean has done for me.”

Adele Henderson Dunlap ’23

Adele Dunlap ’23 of Hunterdon County became the oldest living American citizen in July.  Dunlap, who was born Dec. 12, 1902, in Newark, is 113 years, 7 months, 1 week old. Her sheepskin from the New Jersey State Normal School at Newark, the predecessor of Kean University, bears a date of June 29, 1923. Read more.
