Congratulations to Dr. Eric Aligo, a meteorology graduate of Kean working on physics development of numerical weather models for the National Centers for Environmental Prediction in College Park, Maryland. Dr. Aligo helped develop an upgraded weather model called the Ferrier-Aligo microphysics scheme. This internationally recognized model is widely used by meteorologists and the National Weather Service across the country. Aligo will be presenting a paper on the Ferrier-Aligo microphysics scheme at the American Meteorological Society's 27th Conference on Severe Local Storms on November 6, 2014.
