Accessing Alumni Benefits

As a Kean alumnus/alumna, you are entitled to numerous benefits that Alumni Relations has to offer.  In order to partake in the following benefits and services, you must have a Kean University Alumni Card. Alumni Cards are free of charge and can be obtained by stopping by the Office of Alumni Relations on campus, by emailing the office at alumni@kean.edu, by filling out an online request, or by calling (908) 737-ALUM (2586).  We look forward to hearing from you!

·         Local Gym Membership Discounts

o   Kean University Gym, Union, NJ

Alumni are encouraged to obtain a gym membership for the newly renovated gym facilities on campus.  With a gym membership, alumni are able to use the Fitness Center, Pool, Harwood Arena, Indoor Track, and Exercise Classes.  For further information about the gym facilities, please visit http://intramurals.keanathletics.com/alumni/index.

To obtain a gym membership, alumni need to ensure they have an Alumni Card, which can be obtained through the Office of Alumni Relations.  Then alumni will need to fill out an Alumni Membership Application (link) and Indemnification Agreement (link) and return the paperwork, with the payment of the $300 annual fee, to the Accounting Office.  Once the Accounting Office processes all items, alumni will be contacted.  To get into the gym, you will need an Alumni Photo ID which can be obtained free of charge by stopping at the Photo ID Office and showing your Alumni Card.

o   Power and Fitness Health Club, Rahway, NJ

The Power & Fitness Health Club, located in Rahway, New Jersey, is a 24 hour is a new, dynamic fitness health club offering customized, comprehensive and result-oriented fitness programming.  Power & Fitness would is offering Kean alumni discounts to one and two year gym membership packages, as well as $0 down to start a membership.  One year memberships normally run at $49 per month and two year memberships run at $39 per month, but mention that you are a Kean alumnus/alumna, and you can receive a one year membership for only $35 a month or a two year membership for the best value of $25 per month!  If you aren’t ready to commit to a membership, Power & Fitness is also offering a free one week trial for their facilities.  For more information, visit their website at www.powerandfitness.net or call (732) 956-3838!

o   Fit & Fabulous Women’s Gym, Union, NJ
