History of the Ruth Horowitz Alumni House
Located on the East Campus, the Ruth Horowitz Alumni House offers a warm and nostalgic environment where fellow alumni can visit and reminisce. The unique ambiance that has been created at the Alumni House includes a photographic and archival history of your Alma Mater dating all the way back to its institutional roots in 1855, when Kean University was known as Newark Normal School.
The Ruth Horowitz Alumni House is often used to host many of the meetings, conferences and special events that are sponsored by the Alumni Association as well as other University entities.
